For a very long time, we’ve been waiting for the official update for the Samsung Galaxy Note so that it could get updated to Ice Cream Sandwich. Some courageous tech buffs even tried to try a leaked ROM to see how this edition of Android will appear on the Note.

Never mind, the main thing is that the ICS update for this phablet is eventually seeding to consumers all over the world. Until now, there is no authorized statement by the South Korean mobile manufacturer, thus the roll-out plan is uncertain. As expected with such updates, not everyone will receive the update at the same time. Probably a few areas & SIM-free versions will be first to get this update. So, keep your fingers crossed folks!

AT&T will not offer Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket HD

This is barely a surprise given the fact that the smartphone in question was uncovered a long four months back at Consumers Electronics Show. AT&T & Samsung have taken the decision to dump the release of the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket HD. This was disclosed with an interview with the Ryan Bidan, Samsung’s VP of marketing.

It seems that the release of the AT&T edition of the Samsung Galaxy S2 HD LTE is not making any logic, given the unveiling of the highly-anticipated Samsung Galaxy S3, accompanied by with the smartphone’s approaching release in the United States mobile phone market.

However, we still don’t know whether Samsung Galaxy S3 will be offered by the AT&T’s network or not. But, Bidan pretty much affirmed the launching of the new flagship model for the service provider.

Anyway, if you are still interested in Skyrocket HD let’s have a look at the specs of this handset. It flaunts a mammoth-size 4.65” Super AMOLED Plus capacitive touchscreen, 8 MP snapper, Dual-core 1.5 GHz processor, etc. Sadly, the operating system is the Gingerbread and not the Ice Cream Sandwich. And, we don’t know anything about the update yet.

But, maybe we should focus more on Samsung Galaxy S3. It’s expected that that the 4.8-inch of Super AMOLED greatness to become accessible in the service provider’s orange/white draped boxes very soon.
